To make this an easy recipe, we replaced four standard ingredients—flour, salt, baking soda, and some of the sugar—with self-rising flour and sweetened condensed milk, allowing for minimal prep time. A final sprinkling of sugar gave the finished cobbler a gorgeous browned crust.

- I made this according to recipe but added lemon zest and pure vanilla extract.
- I didn't have self rising flour. but it worked well adjusting with 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 3/4 tsp salt and rounded 1/4 tsp baking soda.

- 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 6 ounces self-rising flour - 1 ¼ cups, 170 grams
- ½ cup whole milk
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter - melted
- 10 ounces blueberries - 2 cups, 283 grams
- 1 ¾ ounce sugar - ¼ cup, 50 grams
Instructions
- Adjust the oven rack to the middle position and heat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 13 by 9-inch baking dish.
- Whisk the condensed milk, flour, milk, and melted butter together in a bowl.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the blueberries and sugar evenly over surface.
- Bake until deep golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 35 minutes.
- Transfer the cobbler to a wire rack; let cool for 10 minutes.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
