Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
Spray a 12-cup muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In a blender or food processor, place the the orange quarters and orange juice. Blend until pureed.
Add the egg and butter to the pureed mixture and combine.
Pour the mixture into a large bowl. Set aside.
In separate bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
Add the dry ingredients to the pureed mixture and stir to combine.
Gently fold in the chopped cranberries until incorporated into the batter.
Fill prepared muffin cups about ¾ full.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes
Remove from oven.
